Hollister R&D
Station I
was born in Mercedes, Texas but raised in Irapuato,
(Guanajuato) Mexico, where I studied and obtained my bachelor's degree
at the University of Guanajuato, in Agronomy and Plant Breeding.
I continued his
studies at the University of California, Davis where in 1986 I obtained
a master's degree in plant pathology.
I started my working
life at Heinz Seed in Stockon, California where I was involved in
the whole research of processing tomato. My responsibilities and work
activities were in the areas of pathology, plant breeding and molecular
biology. I stayed with Heinz Seed until 2002.
After a brief period
of agro-consulting activity, I joined United Genetics as plant breeder
to take over the processing tomato breeding activity. |
