United
Genetics Italia Srl., in cooperation with Bayer Italy, hosted a
very important tomato grower meeting in the Po River Delta
region, with the participation of some 40 key tomato
growers.
Visitors were
particularly impressed by two of the hybrid tomatoes on trial:
- UG 820 F1
(early square round)
- UG 822 F1
(mid season pear).
After the
presentation of the trial results, all attendees enjoyed a very
special dinner at a famous local restaurant.
Another
meeting was held in the Parma/Piacenza region to
discuss the recent performance of United Genetics' hybrids and
to verify the processing tomato crop in Italy and other European
countries. |
