Dr. Bruno Rossolini joins United
Genetics as Director of Sales for Strategic Accounts
 Dr.
Remo Ludergnani, President of United Genetics Seeds Co., is making the
following announcement:
Dr. Bruno Rossolini,
a veteran of the seed industry, after two years of absence to arrange
personal business, is back in the vegetable seed industry as Director of
Sales, Strategic Accounts, for United Genetics.
Bruno, who has a
Master's degree in business and economics from the University of Parma,
Italy, started his career in the seed business with Petoseed Italy in
October 1972 as Finance Director.
In 1978, he became the
General Manager, developing a deep knowledge of the commercial and
technical aspect of the vegetable seed business that allowed him, when
Seminis merged Petoseed, Royal Sluis and Asgrow into one single business
unit, to be named Profit Manager for Italy and then, in 2000, for the
Middle East and Africa territory.
In 2003 he was named Vice
President of the EMEA Territory (Europe, Middle East, Africa), a
position that he kept, also after Monsanto purchased Seminis in 2005,
until he left Seminis in 2006.
Bruno started his activities
with United Genetics in August 2008. he will work out of the United
Genetics Italia SPA offices in Parma, and he will be responsible for
promiting business with strategic accounts in Europe and the Middle
East.
